The Colorado Criminal Defense Bar (CCDB) recently announced its faculty lineup for the 2013 DUI Summit to be held in Breckenridge on April 4 and 5. The program, organized by Denver attorney Jay Tiftickjian and the CCDB, includes attorneys and instructors from both Colorado and across the county. The seminar is also endorsed as a state-approved session by the National College for DUI Defense.
Some of the list of well-known speakers are Colorado’s Tiftickjian, Abe Hutt, and Timothy Bussey. From across the country are attorneys Jamie Balagia from Texas, Leonard Stamm from Maryland, James Nesci from Arizona, Michael Nichols from Michigan, and Marcos Garza from Tennessee. The Executive Director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), Paul Armentano, will present on marijuana impairment. Dr. Robert Lantz and Dr. Patricia Sulik from Ft. Collins will also present on prescription drug and synthetic cannabinoid testing.
The CCDB is a non-profit organization protecting the rights of the accused and provides training and support to the criminal defense community in Colorado. The CCDB puts on one DUI defense conference per year.
